C is for Costume
Happy Halloween! My mom made me a costume. I was a ladybug. We went to the YMCA on Friday for a costume party. Lots of kids were there, and a good time was had by all. I got to stay up past my bedtime.
While I was at the party, my dad put me in the balls in the gym.

What you're looking at here is me about to unleash some of my famous dribbling maneuvers.
There weren't too many quality pictures of my costume from Friday night, so we had a re-enactment today.

I decided to ham it up. I'm a vicious ladybug. Arrrrrgggghhh!
Aaaaarrrrgggghhh!

Aaaaarrrrggggghhhh! And, oh yeah, uh, grrrrrrr!
Well, that was strenuous!

I make a pretty convincing vicious ladybug.

B is for Banana
Hi there.

Just hanging out in my new high chair waiting to see what Mom is going to feed me today. It's really fun!
Hey Mom, what are you doing over there?

Are you making me something to eat?
I'm getting really hungry over here!

I'm so hungry that I'm going to have to resort to eating this bib if you don't get some food in my mouth soon!
What the heck is this? Bananas?

Ew. I think I hate them.
Seriously, Mom. These bananas are gross.

They don't taste anything like milk.
Now that I've choked down a few bites, I feel a little better.

It really wasn't as bad as I made it out to be. I might even try bananas again someday.
Stay tuned to see what I eat next...

A is for Apple
Mom, dad, grandma, and I went to the orchard this weekend. On the way there, I got to try out my new car seat. I also got to interact intensely with grandma because she sat in the back seat with me.
They had a swing there, and you know how much I like swings.

Wheeeeee!
Also, there was this cow.

The cow says, "MOOOOOOOO". I didn't find this terribly exciting. Can you tell?
We walked around the orchard for awhile. The highlight of this was grandma repeatedly telling my dad that I was cold. I wasn't, really.
Then there were the pumpkins. Oh the pumpkins.

My mom and dad took about eight thousand pictures of me with these pumpkins. Whoop-tee-doo.
Wait a minute, what's this?

Don't bother me. I'm conducting stem cell research.
Alright, you got me.

I actually had a little bit of fun with the pumpkins.
Then there were the obligatory group pictures.

Me and dad and grandma.
Same thing as before, except with mom, not grandma.

I come from exceptionally good-looking stock. Don't 'cha think?

A swing and a spoon
Mom and Dad took me to the park the other day so that I could try out this swing.

Look out, here I come. Wheeeeeeeee!
Yeah, this is actually kind of fun.

Don't be fooled by my serious expression. Mom and Dad just couldn't get any of my smiles caught on camera.
In other news, I have started eating rice cereal.

Mom feeds me with a spoon. I like to help.
I think that I kind of like eating cereal.

It's a little bland, but it's good practice for me. Mom says if I am good at eating cereal, I can move on to other foods like squash and peas.
I tried to be neat, but couldn't avoid getting cereal all over my face.

I think this is is a nice look.
Aw, we're all done eating with the spoon?

Time to clean off my bib!

Another day, another new skill...
Hi there.

I still spend a lot of time in my bouncy seat, but as you can see, I'm getting a little big for it.
Tonight I practiced sitting in my boppy.

Sometimes I need a little bit of assistance with this new skill.
Check it out!!! I'm doing it!!!

Look Mom, no hands!
Uh oh...

I'm still a little top heavy on account of my enormous brain.
Let's try this again.

Sometimes I get distracted by items like this lovely hemp rug.
Oh no, here I go again....

This is a lot harder than it looks.
I totally meant to do this.

Just had to get myself into proper crawling position. I can't actually crawl yet, but it's never too early to get in some practice.

Rolling, rolling, rolling...
Well, since the last ESP episode, I have mastered rolling over, to my right. Rolling to the left is still a tricky maneuver, but I've got the concept down, at least.
I start out on my blanket.

Then I start the rolling process.
It takes a lot of concentration.

You can see how hard I'm concentrating.
I like to roll myself up in my blanket.

It's really fun.

Someday I'm gonna keep going to turn myself into a Baby Burrito. Maybe by Halloween.
Sometimes, when I'm trying something new, it helps me if I put my fingers in my mouth.

Not really! I just like to suck on my fingers!
But once I get going, it's hard to stop.

Watch me go!
Going...

going...
Still going.

How did I get way over here?
