U is for Unbirthday
I was supposed to be born one year ago today. Didn't happen.
But today is Dad's birthday. And Great Grandpa Brown's birthday too! Turns out that April 27 is a good day to be born unless you think it's better to hold out for Cinco de Mayo.
I still like to play in my Exersaucer.

Now, Mr. Leopard, I do not appreciate you laughing at my hairdo.
If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

Here I am crawling onto the coffee table in the basement.

I really enjoy a good book.
I enjoy it even more when it's upside down.
Yeah, reading is a lot of fun.
But not as much fun as crawling on a book!
When I have a busy day, I zonk right out in my crib.
Turns out that my legs fit through the rails of the crib perfectly.

T is for Toothbrush
I hope everyone had a Happy Easter!
My first Easter was pretty good.
The Easter Bunny brought me a few things.
Looks like a toothbrush! And a stuffed animal!
Oh, you shouldn't have.
Although, now that I seem to be growing a tooth, this might come in handy...
Let me take a closer look.
Mixed fruit flavor seems tasty.
Is there anything else in this basket?
How about some candy?
The electricity went out at our house last night, so we had to go out for dinner. That's why I'm wearing pants.
When we got home, I did some more playing with my new toothbrush. Mmmm, tasty!

S is for Silly
Well, I bet you were expecting to see a silly picture right off the bat.
Nope! I'm often very serious.
Except when I try to eat my foot.
Hmmm, it kinda tastes like a dirty sock. Ew.
Enough posing in this big chair.
Get me out of here!
I went for my first bike ride of the year last week.
Here I am with Dad, getting ready for the big ride.
I'm old enough to ride in the trailer like a big girl now.
It was fun. We'll probably do it again sometime.
Sometimes I play in my crib. Mom usually puts some of my favorite toys in there to keep me occupied.
I played for a few minutes, then was overcome by sheer exhaustion. I slept in this odd position for about 30 minutes, then Mom made me get up and eat some dinner.
In other news, did you know that there are only 25 more days until my first birthday? I'm pretty excited about it. I'm not sure what to expect because I've never had a birthday before, but it seems like it will be fun. At least that's what they tell me...
