Nude adventure
Tonight, before Mom could get me in the Baby Jacuzzi, I made a run, er, crawl, for it.

See ya later!
I made a beeline for my toy box.

Don't mind me, I'll just check out these books.
It wasn't long before I was off to a different part of the house.

I think I'll just pause for a moment to comb my beautiful locks...
Uh oh...

Looks like Mom is on to me. It's time to head to the Jacuzzi.
And here I am, enjoying my Baby Jacuzzi at last.

I can't believe Mom and Dad still cram me into this little blue tub. Maybe next time I blog about Baby Jacuzzi, I'll be in the big tub. Well, a girl can dream, right?

Some new tricks
It's been awhile since I've posted an extreme close up.

I seem to have a picture like this every time Mom whips out the camera.
I really enjoy a good book. I like to point at the pictures and go "Hmmmm?"

Mom tells me this is a strawberry. I can't say it, but I like to eat them.
Remember the other day when I was pushing my lawnmower around my playroom?

Well, I've found a better way to use it.
I'll just wait here patiently until someone comes along and pushes me.

Why walk when I can ride?
My lawnmower also makes a handy seat.

I was watching a Sesame Street video in this picture. It was very educational. Don't be fooled by the glazed look I'm sporting here. I was learning a lot.
So I can stand up on my own now.

Well, Mom wasn't quick enough with the camera to capture my triumph, but I've been doing it a lot lately.
I'm quite proud of myself.

Standing up is so much fun! Why didn't I try this sooner?

Seeing the sights and talking up a storm
Today I went to the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden with my Mom and some friends. We frolicked in the grass, had a baby potluck, and generally had a good time.

This is the most famous sculpture in the Sculpture Garden. It's called "Spoonbridge and Cherry." It's enormous, as you can see from this picture.
We took a walk through the garden after the festivities.

It was exhausting.
Sorry I've been slacking on the blog entries lately. I've just been so busy learning to talk and walk that I can hardly find the time to sit down at the computer and upload all of my adorable photos. In case you were wondering, I'm getting closer to walking. I'm pretty good at it as long as someone is holding my hands. Mom says I might be better at this if I could stop laughing so hard every time I try.
I'm also learning a lot of new words. So far my vocabulary includes: dog (daw!), duck (duh!), thank you (tank ooo), good girl (goo girrrrl), ball (baw) and up (bup). I can also say Mama and Dada. My favorite word though, is DAW! I think that everything is a daw. If it's furry and has four legs, as far as I'm concerned, it's a daw.

Big girl!
I'd like to show you how big I am getting.

I went to the doctor for my 15-month check-up this week and I now weigh 21 lbs 4 oz and I'm 29.5 inches tall (that's 2 feet 5.5 inches). I'm also growing two more teeth. Mom and Dad can see them poking through - finally, some front teeth!
I am learning how to brush my own hair.

It takes a lot of concentration.
Brushing my hair makes me hungry sometimes.

Good thing I've got two hands - one for brushing, one for eating.
I like to pull myself up on anything I can find.

It's so much fun!
I found this telephone.

Whoops, that would be the remote control.
All that talking sure wore me out.

I'll just stop here and take a little break.
I'm getting really good at pushing my toys around.

I put a lot of effort into this.
But not so much effort that I can't get a little silly!

Hee hee.
Here are some pictures from today. Mom says this is probably the last time I'll be able to wear this pretty dress. She said it's getting too snug around my middle.

Here I am concentrating very hard on standing on this lid. You'll want to pay close attention to the tongue in this photo.
I'm learning how to use my shape sorter.

The circle is my favorite shape.
I already know where to put it.

I get it right every time.
After I played in my playroom, I hung out in the kitchen while Mom made some dinner.

I like getting into mischief now that I can reach more things.
This fork fits nicely in this bottle.

I like the sound of plastic hitting plastic.
I am getting so big that I use a fork when I eat my dinner now.

Too bad I just hold the fork in my hand while I eat with my other hand. Oh well, I'll figure this out soon.

Speed Demon
Hi!

I'd like to take this opportunity to show you my new toy.
Mom found it for me at a garage sale a few months ago. It was free.

I would have paid at least $5 for this sweet ride.
My new toy is pretty fast.

Hey, wait for me!
Since my new toy is so fast, Mom had to hold on to keep me under the speed limit.

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
OK, I think I'm getting the hang of this.

Left foot. Right foot. Left foot. Right foot. Got it.
I make it look so easy.

As you can see, Mom is very proud.
Hey Mom, can you ease up a little on the brakes?

I'm ready to see how fast this baby can go.
Oh yeah....

I'm gonna be unstoppable once I can move my feet fast enough to keep up with my new wheels.
