She can be a tough audience.

Don't be fooled by her serious expressions above. We get a lot of these too:

Can you believe the little sister is already two months old? She is clocking in at 12 pounds and 6 ounces and is now 23 inches long. Oliver recently celebrated a birthday, more on that to come!

It took 3 1/2 grown-ups to get the numbing gel on his eyebrow, a backboard with industrial-grade Velcro (and a few more adults), one suture nurse, 2 internal stitches and 12 regular stitches to sew his eyebrow back together.

My job was to wash her hair.

She liked it.

We like to make bathtime a family event around here. I wonder how many more people we could cram in this tiny bathroom?

While Lucy bathed, Oliver brushed his "teef" - he would brush them seventeen times a day if given the opportunity. He's not too picky about which toothbrush he uses, I believe that one belongs to mom.

Too soon, bathtime was over for Lucy.

Thus concludes another successful Baby Jacuzzi!

Then he decided to charge the camera.
You'd be surprised at how fast my mom can move when there is a paint-covered toddler coming right at her.

I have a little more restraint and just showed off my messy hands.
Impressive, no?

I am much neater about eating my peanut butter sandwiches and am usually photo-ready after a quick wash of the hands.

He was surprisingly well-behaved while Kris cleaned up his baby mullet.

Toward the end of the haircut, she had to chase him around with the scissors and the clippers.

Despite his activity level, Oliver did not lose an earlobe and his hair appears to be the same length on both sides. Kris earned a hefty tip for her efforts, we think she probably needed a good nap after we left too.

They have a special program where the kids all line up against the wall and sing songs. By the end of the year, most of us are a little better at performing and we actually sing instead of standing there like a bunch of deer caught in headlights.

After the program, refreshments were served.

Hellllllloooo, ladies.

He was quite excited to learn of this special occasion.

Dad thinks that Oliver needs to start wearing this shirt more often, as he just keeps getting handsomer by the day.

Oliver also had a recent check-up and he's catching up to me! He is 32 inches tall and weighs in at a whopping 29 1/2 pounds!

I'm also pretty excited about my new Belle princess dress.

We invited all of my girl friends from preschool over for a princess party.

It was lots of fun. We made princess crowns and wands and ate lots of tiny cupcakes.

I also had my 4-year-old checkup after my birthday. I'm 37 inches tall and I weigh 33 pounds for those that are keeping track.

See how busy Oliver is?

I'm so busy that I resort to falling asleep on the couch snuggling with the DVD player remote control.

When we're not lounging around, we like to play.

I feel pretty fortunate to have a brother that doesn't mind when I make him play princesses.

Lucky for him, I happen to have an extra Cinderella outfit that is just the right size.

I think he kind of likes it.

Er, maybe not.

Sometimes Oliver prefers to do something a little more manly. In that case, I sometimes draw whiskers on him.

He looks pretty ferocious, doesn't he?

At first, I wanted to name her Elissa. Mom and Dad said that might get a little bit confusing.

I also happen to think "Sunshine" is a lovely name.

My baby sister has already put her foot down about my name choice. Mom thinks that she would prefer something a little more er, mainstream.

Believe it or not, he does manage to get a lot of the food into his mouth.

Oliver prefers to use the wrong end of the spoon.

It takes a little more concentration this way, but the end result is that the food still gets to the same place.

Time for another bite...
