A magnitude 5.9 earthquake hit Mexico on Sunday, officials said according to the Huffington Post.
There were no reports of of significant damages or injuries, Huffington Post said. Some people said they could feel tremors and others were without power after the quake, CNN said.
The earthquake took place about 200 miles from Mexico City, CNN news said. It was 46 miles deep, CNN reported according to UGUS.
Capable of causing considerate damage to poorly built or badly designed structures and slight to moderate damage to well-built, ordinary structures, an earthquake of this magnitude is considered moderate, CNN news said.
