Awesome Web Apps: LinkedIn
I don't think I've been using LinkedIn long enough to really take advantage of all its features, but it is slowly becoming more useful. It is gradually becoming my online resume. LinkedIn is basically a social network for professional use. You put resume-style information in your profile and add colleagues and friends as contacts. You can recommend contacts, get introduced to new contacts and even look for jobs. Lots of recruiters actually use LinkedIn as a tool for finding capable employees.
