We were supposed to be on the road to the Black Hills today, to visit family and attend the wedding of a friend. We have opted instead to stay home and donate what we planned to spend on gas to the Red Cross. Just seemed like the right thing to do.
We're sorry to be missing the wedding, but I know Kristi and Jason know we wish them all the best. And it looks like it will be a beautiful weekend in the Twin Cities, so we'll take advantage of it by biking, hiking with the dog, grilling with friends, and generally just being thankful that we're safe and well.
