Future of inequality

As far as the future is concerned, we always hope that things will improve and that our society will make positive changes. The truth is, that there will probably be separate problems, and of course, they will be unpredictable.

An interesting part of the article was expanding upon the idea of "black and white" in our culture. Obviously, its already not like that right now, but in the future it will change even more. The author discussed that non white/black population will be around 32 percent. Hopefully different cultures will continue to embrace each other.

1. How you do think race relations will change as American culture becomes more integrated?
2. Will there be any economic impacts of an even more diverse America?

I agree with you on the fact that our society will always have certain problems that aren’t changeable, and that would probably separate different ethnic groups from one another. And I believe that because there will probably be so many different ethnic groups migrating to the U.S. there might even be more unpredictable problems that might come with them migrating in such high numbers. There would absolutely be some economic impact that would occur with so many different people coming here, and looking for jobs as well as the American Dream. I think that the more diverse America gets the more problems that would occur in different racial groups.

I think that with time all races will become integrated. Our society just needs to learn how to be more accepting of people. Anything different always makes people a little nervous. My hope is that with time everyone will accept one another and not think of eachother as different races or having different skin tones.
I think at first there will be an economic impact but as people work their way up in society and a variety of races become the norm and not the minority I think the economy will even its self out. I just think change will take time.

I think every good thing takes time. So, it will be really long before all races in America really become intergrated. And when they do, I still think they will still be stereotypes, racism, discrimination, prejudice, the only difference is that it might not be as apparent as it is today. Also, it might be a lot less than today.

I think that as America becomes more diverse, there will be positive economic impacts. The economic market has mainly been drived and fueled by White people, as different races and culture increase their influences on this market, there will be new and innovative advancesb that will create new supply and demand. Which will hopefully boast our economy.

I will always believe there will be inequalities in our society. We have gone through civil right protests and we still portray minorities as if they are ruining our society. I think it will become more subtle so that people will come off looking like they hold no bias so they can be accepted. Not everyone person likes everyone. There are people we dislike not just because of race, gender, sexuality but because of personality, attitude, etc. It would be hard to disregard all of our past insecurities to accept diffferent people.

I forgot to put my name in the last post. ^^
