Wait...is this stuff real??!! The bolus will turn into chyme while in the stomach and then into the duodenum. Correct?

Thats gross that its real. . .i thought it was just a model. isn't in the stomach because of the chemical thats found in the stomach?

Yes, the chyme is real, but it is in a plastic tube of some sort in this image. It is chyme--my friend sent me the image from her pathology lab.

Chyme appears in the stomach but is dispensed to the small intestines.
