Talks Between Israel and Palestine Suspended
Violence between Israelis and Palestinians spread from Gaza to West Bank on Sunday, putting a hold on contact between the two according to a spokeswoman for Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas of Fatah.
On West Bank, Israeli forces shot Palestinian teenagers and dispersed stone-throwing demonstrators as protests broke out against the large amounts of deaths, according to the New York Times.
An Israeli Army spokeswoman said there were "very violent disturbances" going on in the area and police opened fire on the Palestinian teenagers because they were acting suspiciously.
Also on Sunday, rockets were fired from militants from Gaza into Israel.
There have been at least 10 Palestinians killed in Gaza by Israel fire on Sunday and about 100 since Wednesday, according to the BBC. Israel officials say most of the deaths were militants but Palestinian officials say more than half of the dead were civilians.
