controversies

I am also having trouble picking controversies. I am an animal science major and thinking about animal euthinasia. I really don't have any other ideas. I'm not very political and really don't want to do anything that route. For the person who wanted to do something on the animals in the zoos you could get a lot of information from animal rights groups for one side and from the zoos and research going on at the zoos for the other side. I think it would work. I hope i can come up with some more before class tomorrow. Any ideas?

I am also trying to come up with some controversies I am an animal science pre-vet major and can only think of animal testing as a topic. Circus animals could be another one but I havent heard of any problems recently with them.

I am still stuck on my topic as well, but the euthenasia idea sounds like a good idea for you. I have no idea what to do!

I also have found the problem of finding a controversy, but its been hard to find a controversy that I have a real passion for. I am also an animal science major with a pre-vet emphasis and i was thinking along the lines like you guys of animal abuse/euthanasia...but I feel mixed when you bring up the animal abuse topic, because I feel that science should forward with making break thrus and unfortunately animals have to be tested on because they havent found any other way to study some of these treatments...But on the other hand, i feel that its cruel to the animals to be locked up in cages and live the life that is unimaginable. So i guess i'll i'm saying is i'm stuck too!
