!!!HELP US!!!

No offense meant to anyone, but I feel like a majority of the class time is spent answering a certain person's questions. I think I speak for the rest of the class when i say we are trying to be respectful of that person but it is driving us crazy. I think Ms. Tschider is really fun to listen to, and we could learn a lot, but we as a class are not paying to listen to a fellow student the entire classtime. Individual problems should be dealt with on a one-to-one basis so we don't have to disturb the class this way. PLEASE, share your time and stay after or visit office hours if you have a ton of problems or questions because we all HAVE to be there and we all want to learn and participate together unfortunately our time is being hogged. Responses requested, thanks guys

I agree, this is an issue that needs to be fixed in order for the entire class to learn what is being taught, it's not a disscusion class where only question and answer is on the agenda. Questions are ok, but not ones that take up teaching time and everyone elses time. Those should be delt with one-on-one with the teacher AFTER class, so not to waste everyone elses time and money!!!!

I also agree with this. I was just thinking that some of the questions might be answered if Ms.Tschider finished her lectures all the way through. It also gets a little confusing when we get off topic from the main discussion of the day. Maybe we could start a class policy that we write down questions during class and ask them at the end. I would find that much easier to understand. Of course during a discussion it would be different. What do you guys think of that?

I think questions are great, just hold them untill you have all the information to go upon, instead for jumping into a teaching that might just answer your question if you were to just listen; and if not short question are great, if it is a long or comlicated question then ask the teacher after class, not during when everyone else understands. This class is not a debeat the teacher class. You need to take in the information as is, not question it so much.

I would have to agree with this post. I too have become extremely frustrated with the way lecture has been going. I feel we as a class could benefit more if it weren't for these 'detours' during class time.

i also agree with this post. i understand how a person could have questions about what works and how it works...but it seems as though some of the things we are learning are more of outlines or guidelines for how to write a paper....and i don't understand how that can be argued against. questions are ok, they can be brought up with the professor at appropriate times, however i don't agree with arguing over details of examples that are made simply to show us how our papers should look.

I also agree with all of you. I believe that classtime could be more productive if some questions were held until the end of the class or at least the end of the topic being discussed. It fustrates me as well to be on one subject for a long time just because ONE person doesn't get it yet.
