cheerleading

I am debating about cheerlaeading for the U. I think that it would be super cool to travel and to be active with the University, but I don't know if I want to cheer for basketball. I think that football would be awesome, but it is too late to cheer this season. Anyway, I have been given the opportunity to do it, and I can't decide what to do. Any opinions? I could use an unbias opinion. Do people go to games? I have never been.

Basketball games are insane, lots of people attend..from what i have seen from previous years of attending games. But you do have to take into account the amount of work that goes into it (practices..blah blah blah i'm sure you know) and whether or not your up for it. But i say, hey why not if you have a passion for cheerleading, go for it! I think basketball is attended more then football in my opinion but it may just look like that because the barn is a smaller area then the metrodome. Good luck!

I think you should do it. I would take a lot of time but it is also a chance of a life time. You never know maybe if you cheer for basketball you will me someone and end up cheering for the T-wolves. You never know what might happen. I think you would get to meet a ton of people and that is what college is about. I think that if you love cheering things will work out and you will find the time to be able to do it. I hope you give it a shot and let us know how things go.

I think that you should go and cheer for basketball because it is way more fun...your right up there by the players and you get to see all the action. I'm only a junior in highschool and I LOVE cheerleading. For football...the players are way out there...and you don't get to see what happens right up close, but for basketball you get to see all the bloody action. I say go for it! I thought it would be fun my freshman year...so I tried out for my sophomore year in highschool...I did football and basketball...but to me...the students are more into it at the basketball games than at the football games. I LOVED it so much, I tried out again for my junior year of highschool...and here I am, loving it! I have a competition coming up...and it's going to be a blast...we just learned the dance and everything...and that's the fun part! Getting to learn all new things...keeping it a secret...and then surprising everyone at competition!!! You should go for it trust me...IT'S A BLAST!
