1. In the paper that I have been writing for the class, there are many different types of genres. The style that I use is informative and formal. The time of the paper is present. It consists of current issues today, two sided issues. The diction is formal in a sense that it follows MLA guidelines, but the paper is written informal for people who do not know much about the topic by reading my paper should be well informed. There are no forms of “to be”, which adds action to the paper. By not using forms of “to be”, the paper is more interesting to read.
This is important, because it sets the stage for the entire paper. Genres are the style of the paper. For example, whether the paper is formally written for students, or written for young children, would completely change the style of writing. The genres that I use in my paper are important because it follows a grading criteria. To write the paper well means a good grade.
2. I have always pushed boundaries to make anything creative. I like different. In this paper, I will follow the guidelines provided for me, but add personality. To do this, I will state my honest opinion in the most modest way, and try not to be offensive. I want this paper to be something that I am proud of, which means that I must work hard on the research so that I provide a legit paper that follows the guidelines, and is interesting.
