I am trying to bainstorm for ideas for the first presentation and I got nothing so far. I can't decide which direction I want to go; scientific or technical. I guess I'll have to go to the library and just explore both avenues and see what I come up with.

Presentation #2 is going to be a more in-depth explanation of the best parts of presentation #1. I think then that one should try to cover a topic fairly broadly in presentation #1 as to leave room to go more in depth in the second. For example...say your topic was scuba diving...in the first presentation, maybe the basics of all of the equipment and training needed would be appropriate. Then come the second presentation, perhaps one cold focus on exaclty how to set up and actually use the equipment properly.
Just a thought.
