First Presentation

I've never done a presentation over interactive TV. It's going tobe interesting when most of the class is at another location and one other person in the same romm as you. Getting immediate feedback is going to be challenging at first. This is adding a little anxiety along with being the first presentation so just try to be open this time everybody.

I'm curious, what was it like watching the presentations from your site? Over on the St. Paul campus it was easier to mostly just deal with the audience directly, but did it impact how you got ahold of the presentation from over there?

Oh and one more thing, since... I can't seem to edit that last post. Were there any problems that came up while watching it? Since you're doing your presentations tomarrow, it might be helpful to consider how watching the presentations came across, and the considerations might be able to make a little more sense.

Mostly, I'm wondering alot because I hope I came across okay from over there, it's a little strange giving presentations that are sent over a television :)

It's different seeing a presentation in class that's done on TV. The nonverbal communication is hindered, but you can pick up a few things, I did when presenting. It doesn't really matter whether a presentation is done over Interactive TV, there's still a live audience present. I found it helpful to look at the monitors on the other side of the room to make eye contact.
