Thinking ahead...

I've noticed that since the first speeches are going to go a bit longer, we have to plan ahead for our next speech as well.

We have to be on the same topic, but I'm wondering what sort of visual aids would be more effective. Maybe it's a little too soon to consider?

We'll be doing a PowerPoint demo, but you'll be free to use illustrations, movie footage, the ELMO (printed paper) or your/my laptop for everything. The key is to integrate it seamlessly. Just like writing a paper, your visual should be after you've introduced the idea and explained it, you show the visual for further clarification (the visual should be targetted for a common audience--as in, free of exclusive jargon [jargon that divides and alienates the audience, not jargon you have to explain a bit]).
