I think that our first speech is quite long. I am not so sure if i can make it up to 8 to 10 minutes. Also, I am not a native speaker so I hope that everyone can understand and if you have any questions in the middle of my presetation, let me know so that I can explain better. Thanks :)

I think the best thing is to add more detail in places where you think you could explain more. Also, if you compare two things (what you're describing and something that may be familiar to the audience), this may help add time. This seems like a great class, so I'm sure they will be encouraging, as will I. I think it's wonderful that you're taking a presentations course as a non-native english speaker! I bet you'll do a great job. :)
