one: collaborative film experiment based on chance. super 8 - color. Sam proposed the idea that we do a film based on the luck of the draw or the roll of a die. Initially we would choose a topic, say color for example, and then each of us would go out and shoot a roll based on the chosen theme. After coming together we would shake a couple dice to see how many frames per cut, and then shake again and again to determine the order of the splicing. The resulting film would be a montage of chance and the decided theme. two: continuation of initial in-camera film, post editing allowed. super 8 - bw. I would like a chance to re-shoot my initial super 8 film. This time I would like to shoot at least two rolls, giving me a chance to try cutting and splicing film. Seeing how the pacing of a film can change its overall effect on the viewer. The subject matter is simple, still revolving around line and the act of creating lines. three: undecided
