Pakistan terrorist didn't get the memo

I might need a different blog to discuss about root cause in Pakistan and one reason I want to avoid discussing about is that issues in Pakistan can not be isolated from religion.

Attack on Sri Lankan Cricket Team was a complete shock. Not like India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan has very good international relationship, on the other had its hard to find a country that doesn't have good international relationship with Sri Lanka. I can understand LTTE targeting Sri Lankan cricket team but Pakistan terroiist attack is somewhat aberrant situation.

Differences between Pakistan and India should only kept among them and should not effect innocent Sri Lankan cricketers. Especially when they took the risk of going to living hell like Pakistan. They should also keep in mind that this tour was originally arranged between Pakistan and India but Sri Lanka came into the picture after the attack in Bombay.

Considering the fact that Sri Lanka's good relationship with Pakistan, only conclusion that I can come up with is that Pakistan Terrorist didn't get the Memo confirming that it was not the Indian Cricket team but Sri Lankan Cricket team individuals who were in that bus. So next time please get your facts right....

Hi so are you making a point that there was nothing wrong if the terrorists have attacked the indian team? If thats your thought its very sad.

Looks like you have read too much into it. There is not a word or line which says "there is nothing wrong on attacking Indian team". We all know whats the relationship between India and Pakistan. So I just wrote something alone those lines.

Indeed it was shocking! & The blog title is almost suitable! They didnt get their memo's or they were dumb enough to mess things up. Either way , poor innocent cricketers.

Thanks for the comments Niv. The reason I used this title is that one can not avoid thinking if this was an attacked organized against Indian cricket team. That doesn't mean I am saying ok. Regardless what team it is, I disgust any terrorist attack. Yes at the end of the day poor innocent cricketers got hurt. Also my deepest condolences for the families who lost their love ones during this tragedy.

when i heard about the attacks, i was not in shock but more dumbfounded...because what have Sri Lankans ever done to us Pakistanis?? Nothing that comes to mind. It was truly a new depth of senselessness,(if the word exists :))aimed not only to ruin Pakistan's image further in the international scene but also to alienate what few friends and innocent past times it has left.

I dont know if it has anything to do with them 'not getting the memo'. For the half mad self rigtheous people who want to burn Pakistan to the ground,it was just another oppurtunity...

Hi Nabila You are absolutely right. Sri Lanka and Pakistan has a great relationship. Pakistan has been a great help in terms of defeating LTTE Terrorist. This was a major blow to Pakistan's international image.
