The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) has created a Financial Aid Comparision Shopper website to help students understand financial aid awards from different colleges and universities. This is also a great site to get "plain-language answers to your questions about credit cards, mortgages, credit scores, and more". Find it at consumerfinance.gov

"The super committee will evaluate Obama's plan, as it attempts to find a way to cut $1.5 trillion in spending. The White House and Congressional committees have until Oct. 14 to present their proposals to the committee, and the super committee has until Thanksgiving to produce a plan.
