University of Minnesota, Crookston students in the Crookston Student Association (CSA) and Crookston Students for Sustainable Development (CSSD) will be launching their "I Recycle, Do You?" Campaign on November 15, 2010. Crookston students are encouraged to clean out their dorms, desks, and lockers and recycle their junk! The first 100 students that are seen recycling will receive a free t-shirt!

The University of Minnesota, Crookston has taken it's student-led initiative on sustainability and recycling very seriously. With research by both faculty and students, student voice, and effort to gain funding to move projects forward, UMC has come a long way with its sustainability campaign in recent years. Join us for the upcoming Saturday November 13th preview day at the University of Minnesota, Crookston.  Your preview day visit will offer you the opportunity to learn more about us during a fun, informative morning.  It's an excellent way to check us out by touring the campus, learning about our exciting technology-rich academic programs, getting a feel for university life, and ... lunch is on us!  You can schedule your preview day visit by going to the following link:   November 13th preview day reservation.

The itinerary for the November 13th preview day is the following:

·         9:45 am- Check in

·         10:00 am- Admissions presentation

·         10:30 am- Campus tours

·         11:30 am- Academic sessions with faculty

·         12:00 pm- Lunch
