University of Minnesota, Crookston students in the Crookston Student Association (CSA) and Crookston Students for Sustainable Development (CSSD) will be launching their "I Recycle, Do You?" Campaign on November 15, 2010. Crookston students are encouraged to clean out their dorms, desks, and lockers and recycle their junk! The first 100 students that are seen recycling will receive a free t-shirt!

America Recycles Day (ARD) stems from Keep America Beautiful which was established in 1953. To join America Recycles Day, please visit www.americarecyclesday.org or get in contact with Greg Summers, CSA Senator on Recycling summe053@umn.edu

The University of Minnesota, Crookston has taken it's student-led initiative on sustainability and recycling very seriously. With research by both faculty and students, student voice, and effort to gain funding to move projects forward, UMC has come a long way with its sustainability campaign in recent years.
