Travel Alert Issues in Europe

Dear Students,

You may have heard about the recent Travel Alert issued for Americans traveling in Europe. Travel Alerts are issued to disseminate information quickly about terrorist threats and other relatively short-term conditions that pose significant risks or disruptions to Americans. Please take a look at the official announcment on the State Department website to learn more about it: http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_tw/pa/pa_europe.html.

Though the alert is vague, it's a good reminder to follow safe travel precautions. Please review the state department's safe travel guidelines, and let me know if you have any questions.

The university continues to monitor the situation, and we will be in touch with any changes or additional instructions.
