U of M, Crookston libero, Jaclyn Slepicka (LIB, 5-2, SR, Crystal Lake, Ill.) led all defenders with 15 digs. Amber Meyer (OH, 6-2, JR, Paxton, Neb.) led the Golden Eagles offensively with eight kills. She was followed by Amanda Swann (OH, 6-0, FR, Rochester, Mich.) who had seven kills. Shannon Cologna (S, 5-6, JR, Peoria, Ariz.) paced the team with 22 assists and Alyssa Krikke (MH, 6-0, JR, Grand Rapids, Mich.) led the team with three assisted blocks.
Concordia University as a team attacked at a .512 (48K-4E-86TA) clip. Sadie Kessler led all players with 15 kills and an amazing .789 (15K-0E-19TA) attack percentage. She was followed by Cassie Haag who had11 kills and a .550 (11K-0E-20TA) attack percentage. She also tallied a match high eight assisted blocks. The Golden Bears only committed four attack errors in the match. All-American Maggie McNamara led all setters with 42 assists.
The Golden Eagles are 3-13 overall and 0-4 in the NSIC while the Golden Bears advance to 16-0 overall and 5-0 in conference play. U of M, Crookston hosts St. Cloud State tomorrow at Lysaker Gymnasium. First serve is scheduled for 4 p.m.
