Golden Eagles Men's Basketball Team Returns to Action With Pair of Non-Conference Games

(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Men's Basketball team returns to action on Friday, December 18 and Sunday, December 20 with a pair of non-conference games. On Friday, the Golden Eagles will host Mayville State University at Lysaker Gymnasium. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. On Sunday, they will travel to Dickinson State University. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. (CST).

U of M, Crookston holds an overall record of 3-5 and Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) record of 0-4 after dropping an 82-79 overtime decision to Concordia University-St. Paul and a 93-72 decision to St. Cloud State University this past weekend. They are led by Damarius Cruz (Fr, G, Plymouth, Minn.) who is averaging 20 points per game (60-for-127) and Akeem Cubie (Jr, G, Minneapolis, Minn.) who is averaging 19.9 points per game (61-for-103) and 7.8 rebounds per game.

Golden Eagles vs. Mayville State University  Friday, December 18  6 p.m.

The Comets hold an overall record of 6-5 after defeating the University of North Dakota on the road on December 8 by a score of 73-61. They are led by Anton Coleman who is averaging 14.2 points per game (51-for-98) and 4.6 rebounds per game. Marcus Carson is averaging 13.8 points per game (60-for-128) and 4.9 rebounds per game.

Golden Eagles @ Dickinson State University  Sunday, December 20 6 p.m. (CST)

Dickinson State University has an overall record of 3-7 after dropping a 93-80 decision to North Dakota State University. They are led by Nathan Lebsock who is averaging 12.4 points per game (36-for-117). Joshua Henry is averaging 11.2 points per game (48-for-77) and 7.1 rebounds per game. Nate Williams is averaging 10.5 points per game (37-for-68) with five rebounds per game.
