(Crookston, Minn.)- After two weeks on the road, the University of Minnesota, Crookston Men's Basketball team returns home for a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) games. The Golden Eagles will face the University of Minnesota Duluth on Friday, February 12 and Bemidji State University on Saturday, February 13 at Lysaker Gymnasium. Friday's game will tip-off at 8 p.m. while Saturday's will tip-off at 6 p.m.
The Golden Eagles have an overall record of 3-18 and NSIC record of 0-15 after dropping a pair of NSIC road games to Minnesota State University, Mankato (105-55) and Southwest Minnesota State University (75-50) this past weekend. They are led by Damarius Cruz (Fr, G, Plymouth, Minn.) who is averaging 17.1 points (102-234) per game. Adam Hendricks (Sr, F, Watertown, Minn.) is averaging 9.7 points (88-for-175) per game.
Golden Eagles vs. University of Minnesota Duluth Friday, February 12 8 p.m.
The Bulldogs have an overall record of 7-15 and NSIC record of 4-10 after dropping two home games to St. Cloud State University (83-68) and Concordia University-St. Paul (86-85) this past weekend. The University of Minnesota Duluth is led by Ryan Rasmussen who is averaging 17.7 points (82-for-188) per game. Ron White is averaging 13.9 points (90-for-25) and 7.2 rebounds per game. The Bulldogs defeated the Golden Eagles 71-68 in Duluth on December 4.
Golden Eagles vs. Bemidji State University Saturday, February 6 6 p.m.
The Beavers have an overall record of 7-14 and NSIC record of 4-11 after dropping a pair of home games to Concordia University-St. Paul (78-73) and St. Cloud State University (107-71). Bemidji State University is led by Seth Haake who is averaging 17.5 points (133-for-249) and 4.4 rebounds per game. The Beavers defeated the Golden Eagles 89-72 in Bemidji on December 5.
