Annessa Hicks (St. Paul, Minn.) Signs with Golden Eagle Women's Basketball

(Crookston, Minn.)- University of Minnesota, Crookston head women's basketball coach Mike Roysland announced today the signing of Annessa Hicks to a National Letter of Intent to play for the Golden Eagles during the 2010-11 season.
Hicks is a 5-2, guard from Humboldt Senior High School in the St. Paul City Conference. She was selected as an All-Conference Honorable Mention selection following her sophomore season She was an All-Conference member following her freshman, junior and senior seasons and was the conference MVP following her senior campaign.
"Annessa has the ability to be an immediate impact player for the University of Minnesota, Crookston. She has many intangibles to her game that will make her fun and exciting to watch," says Coach Roysland. "She can shoot the three as well as attack the rim. Annessa's ability to break players down will certainly set the table for her teammates to find open looks."
Hicks is the daughter of Dawn and Allen Hicks. She is undeclared on a major at the University of Minnesota, Crookston.
