Martell is a 5-8, guard from Somerset High School in the Middle Border Conference. She was named to the All-Conference team following her sophomore and junior seasons and averaged 19.6 points per game during her junior campaign.
"Ashley Martell is a dynamite three-point shooter and is very effective at attacking the rim," says Coach Roysland. "Her versatility with being able to handle the basketball and court sense will allow her to play multiple positions."
Martell plans to major in health sciences at the University of Minnesota, Crookston. She is the daughter of Bruce and Brenda Martell.
