Tim Norton, director of facilities and operations, recently presented a plaque to Jerry Rude, '83, and, '98, in appreciation for his many years of service to the University of Minnesota, Crookston.

Rude, landscape maintenance supervisor, worked on the Crookston campus for 36 years. He was recognized with a special University of Minnesota award for his work on the campus grounds in 1996 and received the Outstanding Alumni award from the U of M, Crookston in 1985. In 2003, he was awarded the prestigious Torch & Shield award.
