Center for Rural Entreprenurial Studies (CRES) Hiring Student Workers and Interns

cres_logos_final_wgreen.jpgThe Center for Rural Entreprenurial Studies (CRES) at UMC is now hiring student workers and interns for the 2011/2012 academic year.  The mission of CRES is to give students hands-on experience in their field by employing them to assist entrepreneurs in Northwest Minnesota to start or grow their business endeavor.
 
CRES is now looking to hire individuals for the following positions:
 
1.  Accounting/Management Assistant
2.  Marketing/Management Assistant
3.  Communications Assistant
 
At least one UMC student will be hired to fill each position.  Student employment through CRES can be used for internship credit upon approval from the department head and/or department internship coordinator.  Students employed by CRES will be paid $10 per hour and will be required to work 10 to 20 hours per week.  Work schedules are flexible around your class schedule.   If you are interested in applying for one of these positions, submit your cover letter and resume to rlundboh@umn.edu no later than 3 p.m. on Friday, August 26, 2011.  For more information about CRES, visit www.umccres.org
