On Tuesday, the Ag NatR class SM 1043 Facilities Maintenance and Safety, taught by the Ag and NatR department finished a hands-on project between Selvig Hall and Bergland Laboratory.
The class prepared the site for the new concrete slab by forming, installing and compacting material for a uniform base, and installing reinforcement to increase the concrete's tensile strength.
The class is taught by Kent Freberg, assistant professor, agriculture and natural resources.
