The University of Minnesota, Crookston Athletic Department held its annual athletic awards program recently in Kiehle Auditorium on the Minnesota, Crookston campus. The event honored the 2011-2012 senior class, recognized the Male and Female Student-Athlete of the Year, Outstanding Male and Female Athlete of the Year, and individual team award recipients.
(Left photo, 1) University of Minnesota, Crookston Student-Athlete of the Year honors were presented to junior men's basketball player, Almir Krdzalic, Sioux Falls, S.D., and senior women's basketball player Megan Eul, Rosemount, Minn. Krdzalic is majoring in biology and is the son of Najka and Samir Krdzalic. Eul is majoring in early childhood education and is the daughter of Liz and Craig Eul.
(Middle photo, 2) The UMC Outstanding Male and Female Athletes of the Year were recognized. They are junior football player Richard Haley, Detroit Mich., and freshman volleyball player Brittany Looker, Rochester, Minn. Haley is the son of Kanita Walker. Looker is the daughter of Sherry and Jim Looker.
