Robotics Camp Builds Excitement

Twenty-four junior high students are busy in the classroom in Evergreen Hall engaged in Robotics Camp taking place under the direction of Mark Gill, lecturer in the Math, Science, and Technology Department. 

Students work in teams and each team is issued a complete Lego MINDStorm Nxt 2.0 robotic kit and a UMC laptop to be used during camp.They will use their critical thinking and problem-solving skills during the three-day camp to design, build, and program a robot.

The camp runs from August 6-8 from 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
