In the values generation and mission formation has there been attention paid to historically consistent activities and values that UMD has had in its key phases of life? I. Teachers College, II. Becoming a small public liberal arts college III. Growing years IV. The breakup of CLS and creation of Engineering and bolstering of the Business School V. The K. Martin years of growth, building, increased funding for SFA, and explosion of tuition from $2000 to $12,0000. If you need a UMD historian and emeritus UMD professor consultant Neal Storch would be a good person to contact. Don't forget the faculty, staff, adn alumni who went through these phases as constituents and stake holders in this process. Thanks!
