U of M Extension hires Jane Johnson as new development director

ST. PAUL, Minn. (11/14/2012) —University of Minnesota Extension has hired Jane Johnson as their new director of development.

Johnson will raise gifts and contributions that support research, education and outreach initiatives in areas of environment, food and agriculture, communities, families and youth throughout the state. Johnson will work with Cara Miller, who directs Extension's Minnesota 4-H Foundation.

Johnson is a lifelong Minnesota resident and University of Minnesota graduate. Her professional development experience includes the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, University of Minnesota Foundation, Library Foundation of Hennepin County, and the Regional Parks Foundation of the Twin Cities.
