WAA Summer 2012:
Mn/DOT Landscape Class - 2012:
The Road to a Thoughtful Street Tree Master Plan Starts Here!
Developed from the full The Road to a Thoughtful Street Tree Master Plan text, this tutorial series was designed as ten presentations, each representing the ten most common issues that either make or break a street tree master plan.
These presentations may be used for workshops, either as the full set of ten lessons or individual topics for more targeted workshops.
Both The Road to a Thoughtful Street Tree Master Plan and the Mn/DOT Plant Selector were designed, developed and written by experienced landscape architects and urban forestry professionals from the University of Minnesota, the Minnesota Department of Transportation and regional Parks and Recreation Departments. These tools were developed specifically for Minnesota with the singular goal of creating more effective and economical streetscapes. Please view or share these brochures with other tree care professionals and key stake holders in your community.
