The United States’s top federal agriculture official, USDA Secretary Mike Johanns, visited the Twin Cities yesterday to speak at the U’s College of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences graduation ceremony. Charles Muscoplat, vice president and dean of the college, says this year’s graduating class is the largest in almost 20 years, underscoring the college’s increasing appeal.
