A unique project to convert wind energy into hydrogen that can be used for anhydrous ammonia fertilizer is under way at the U of M West Central Research and Outreach Center in Morris. Greg Cuomo, the department’s head, says the project, the only one like it in the world, aims to provide a renewable alternative that be locally produced.
