Minnesota livestock producers have recently voiced concerns that the ethanol-fueled rise in the price of corn could drive their business into the red and force them to find other food to feed their cattle and swine. Dave Bau, a U of M Extension Service educator in agricultural business management, says corn prices are almost 50 percent higher than what they were a year ago.
