At the University of Minnesota, Crookston, researchers are exploring new ways to utilize biofuels processed from Midwestern crops. Paul Aakre, assistant professor of agriculture, is discovering how the organic fuel's byproducts can also be used as animal feed and possibly even to heat homes.
