While today's medical advancements are worthy of much praise, the quality of the news generated about them is not, according to a new University of Minnesota study. Gary Schwitzer, author of the study and a professor in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication, says reporting in America paints a poor picture about the reality of today's medical discoveries.
