Researchers at the University of Minnesota have created killers - tumor killers, to be precise. Dan Kaufman, U of M associate professor of medicine, and his team derived what are called natural killer cells from human stem cells. When injected into lab mice, the natural killer cells eradicated cancerous tumors.
