Gopher Women's Bball Recruiting Class: All Minnesotan
It's gearing up to be another exciting season at "The Barn" with the University of Minnesota women's basketball team. Not only have they recruited one of the top classes in the country, but the entire group is from Minnesota. Coach Pam Borton says the reputation and desire to be a Gopher have helped attract the state's top talent.
Between late night study sessions, too much TV and partying, college students' lifestyles aren't exactly the healthiest, and a new University of Minnesota study is the first to directly link these behaviors with grade point average.
Ed Ehlinger, director of the university's Boynton Health Service, led the study and says such behaviors are taking a toll on student grades.
