Gopher Women's Bball Recruiting Class: All Minnesotan

It's gearing up to be another exciting season at "The Barn" with the University of Minnesota women's basketball team. Not only have they recruited one of the top classes in the country, but the entire group is from Minnesota. Coach Pam Borton says the reputation and desire to be a Gopher have helped attract the state's top talent.

Bad Habits of College Lifestyle Hurt GPA

Between late night study sessions, too much TV and partying, college students' lifestyles aren't exactly the healthiest, and a new University of Minnesota study is the first to directly link these behaviors with grade point average.

Ed Ehlinger, director of the university's Boynton Health Service, led the study and says such behaviors are taking a toll on student grades.

Radon in the Home: Real Problem, Easy Solution

You can't detect it with any of the human senses and it's the second leading cause of lung cancer. Radon is a harmful gas formed from the normal decaying of soil that spreads into homes. Bill Angell a professor and Extension housing specialist at the University of Minnesota weighs in.

He says the risks of radon are very real but the solution is easy and cheap.
