MINNEAPOLIS (AP) The chief administrator for the University of Minnesota, Morris, will testify before a Senate committee in Washington Thursday.

From KXMB.com April 2, 2008

Chancellor Jacquie Johnson will join leaders from Yale University and the University of California, Berkeley, to speak about universities' efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Johnson will speak before the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works about efforts on the Morris campus to eliminate the university's carbon footprint by 2010.

Democratic Senator Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota visited Morris in January and invited Johnson to speak at the hearing.
