The unifying constraint: each short video project needed to integrate a Red Parasol. Five project storylines went into production, each featuring 2-3 student actors from UMD's Acting for the Camera class. Each production team also included 3 students from our Digital Filmmaking class. In production one, everything was very simple, we were just trying to get a feel for a real-time live-to-tape production and with production three, we were a lot more comfortable in the studio and were able to do a few things that were much more effective than in the first project.
