Conferences
I think having these individual conferences are a great idea to help us get on the right track for such a large paper. I mean having to do research papers can scare a lot of people because of how they have to get a whole bunch of information and sort through it come up with an opinion on what your stance is and getting to talk about it one on one really helps to put you on the right track.
Comments
Oh my goodness I agree completely! I am a post-secondary student, and this paper is going to be the most intense paper I've ever had to do. I really like to know I am on the right track when it comes to college writing. It is also good in the fact that I can make sure that all the research I do in the future for this paper isn't useless. And it also makes this paper seem more real life. In the real world, almost everything you do can be looked at ahead of time to make sure it is on the right track. There is a reason scholorly articles are peer-edited. This way, they can make sure they aren't completely off base before publishing. That is the one thing I strongly dislike about high school. Everything you do is permanent, and if you do something wrong that could have easily been fixed with a little help, you still have to suffer the consequences regardless of the situation.
