My workout on Friday was nothing like it was supposed to be. Living on the South Dakota plains means wind, lots and lots and lots of wind. Also, lots of heat! I tried a hill workout at 3:30 p.m. in 20 mph wind and 90 degrees. That didn't last long. Then I headed indoors to the treadmill.
