St. Louis River

The St. Louis River runs through Jay Cooke State Park, south of Duluth. The river flows over Thomson Dam, which provides power for Thomson Station, the largest hydroelectric plant in Minnesota. These photos were taken below the dam. Although the water level is low, the St, Louis is still clearly a powerful river.
