Werder ist Deutscher Fussball-Meister 2004!
It’s done. Werder Bremen secured the German championship title on Saturday afternoon through a 1:3 success in Munich.
Already in the first half the Bremen players made clear who was going to win this game. After 19 minutes Klasnic took advantage of another mistake from Oliver Kahn for the 0:1 lead. Micoud (26’) and Ailton (35) took care of the rest. The munich players only achieved to shorten the score difference with a goal by Makaay at the beginning of the second half.
